Just thought I’d let you all in on some statistical calcuations regarding the probability of having certain hands. Bear in mind this is no guarantee and just a range of figures, we all know that anything can happen in a game of poker.

·        Royal Flush: 1 in 650,000

·        Straight Flush: 1 in 72,200

·        Four of a Kind: 1 in 4,200

·        Full House: 1 in 700

·        Flush: 1 in 510

·        Straight: 1 in 250

·        Three of a Kind : 1 in 48

·        Two Pair: 1 in 21

·        Pair: 1 in 2.4

·        High Card: 1 in 2

Hi, I would like to introduce myself. I bought the website today from the previous owner with the intention to create a daily updated poker blog that is enjoyable to read with great information, poker news and strategies and great bonus offers from the top poker websites on the net. I’am currently playing at two online poker rooms, Party Poker and Pokerstars.

I started my first Poker experience with Party Poker and like their shootout tournaments that run four times daily. The buy ins are 6$ for three of the tournaments and 22$ for the evening tournament which gets lots of participiants especially on weekends.

Pokerstars is another of my favorite sites that I joined two weeks ago. Their turbo shootout tournaments are great, you can make some fast money in them and I will write about those later on in this blog. As you can see, I like shootouts but also play normal tournaments from time to time. I simply like the tournament atmosphere more than the atmosphere at the normal tables.

My biggest achievement so far was the first place at a 22$ shootout tournament at party poker which got me roughtly 1000$ in cash. Would like to read more about your experience and where you are playing.
